Of Lord Kelvin and Aishwarya Rai

George (predictably ;-) ) thunders about the tactics used by Rediff to attract attention to their article on Jethro Tull. The article and the post make mention of Metallica's ads before and after the Grammy loss (Harish and I remember this from last year's VIT quiz).

Now the A Rai reference is actually ironic (or apt, depending on what was intended) for as many may remember, she actually lost after being heavily favoured a la the NDA's 300 seats in the last Lok Sabha election. An unprecedented tie (another little trivia nugget) and a silly question later, a certain Ms. Sen had scraped through.

All this brings me to another great (possibly apocryphal) story very germane to this discussion and justifying this post's title.
