Only when I thought the casting couldn't get worse for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani after the announcement that Salman Khan will play the Maratha warrior, I was proved wrong: Kareena Kapoor will flit in and out of the false Mastani gate in the Shaniwar Waada sets. As a Punekar, I feel rather awful. A letter to the Editor in the Times of India (yesterday IIRC) summed it all up (unfortunately, I can't find it online).
