Gazzag

Yeah, same problem, but none of my friends say they sent those invites and interestingly enough, all those friends I get these Gazzag invites from are on my Orkut list!

Either someone has a lot of time and patience noting down e-mail addresses from webpages or there is a heck of a smart programmer out there and Google had better watch out security wise.

Mangesh - that's interesting. So people aren't sending these out? And till now I was cursing my friends. This is clever spamming.

From what I have heard and seen, it is a hack.

From what I perceive, it's a smart hack that fetches all contacts from one's orkut account and sends invites. But, I think it must have passingly asked the permission of the dear friend who signed up for a gazzag account if he wants to invite all his friends, for which the dear friend must have said "yeah, yeah, you could do that!"
Have no guilt and keep cursing them (as I do) just in case.

Thanks guys - its shadiness quotient just shot up by a lot. I hope others are wary as well.
