I have always been a very fast eater. And that got me into serious trouble, not only with my mother, but also with my stomach. Now it can't digest chana, rajma, milk, curd, cheese, maida. And all this happened when i was studying, so beware! ;-)

I guess this happens to slow eaters, I totally understand what you mean! I used to be that slow eater and people called me "usi thondai" = "Needle throat" But now i just chew down the food as if there is no tomorrow! I am trying to slowdown but it aint happening!

Same happened with me too. I was a slow eater. At one marriage I was siting in 4 consecutive pangats :)) These days I guess I have lost interest in eating, so I eat fast as its just another task on my list. Also I guess if you think a lot while eating, you cant concentrate on food eating it quickly.

Well well... that was food for thought indeed... never really analyzed my eating speed......But one thing that I have noticed is, that when it is something I love.... you will not find it on my plate for tooooooo long... ;-)
