I heard PaThashala and Rubaru on Radio Mirchi (no I dont listen to it often). I liked Rubaru, but thought Pathashala was a bit immature, rather there was something lacking.

You bought the CD?

yeah, they were promoting the music extensively on Radio Mirchi (you don't have to be defensive about listening to that station ;-)) today.

And yes, I bought the CD.

I've personally felt that ARR is a director's musician. His best music seems to come with directors who bring out the best in him (Mani Rathnam, Ashutosh Gowariker). For instance, I don't understand Tamil, but I can make out a Shankar-ARR collaboration when I hear one :-)(just heard 'Boys' in a friend's car) .

Again, I am not half the fount of ARR gyan you are. I'll leave the pontification to the experts.:D.The first listening of RDB was interesting.

It's not Ek OMkaar but Ik OngKaar.

Actually,no offence, but it's "ek o onkar", which means "god is one". But, who cares?
