Number games

Let's assume India's voting percentages in its general elections is about 50%. Let there exist a country half of India's population such that its voters register almost 100% voting in its elections, i.e. greater than India's turnout.

Would that still make us the world's largest democracy?

Out of the 50% that vote, half i.e. 25% vote with absolutely no knowledge of any issues or without any concern. So only 175 million properly participated in the whole endeavor bringing us pretty neck to neck with the US

They do it because they get something for free in return (or are lured into believing that they will). Unless Pericles is damned, we can't be called the world's largest democracy (yet).
