The next steps in Blog Tools

Follow an interesting discussion on A vision for the next generation of blogging tools here. The comments there have already thrown out a number of extremely thought provoking ideas.

My own personal yearning right now is for the ability to index, organize and group my blog posts based on content, areas and perhaps intended audience. Right now, I'm organizing my archives to do part of this albeit manually. Wouldn't it be great to have your post automatically added into a collection of your previous blogs on "Films" or "Cricket"?
