More local notes
First, what does it matter if I liked the film or not? :-). Ok, for the record, I found the film likeable though flawed. There are several points of interest. I sympathise with the style of filmmaking and identify with the "message". Still, the film is seemingly doing not so well, the same as several other films I liked this year. So I will stop my homilies here...Jottings
* What's with the awful typos in the credits? "A.R.Rehman" and "Bosco-Ceaser" !!!
* Director's touch: Note the presence of Bapu Kuti (the book that inspired "Swades") on the table in the "Pathfinder" shop when Shahrukh is minding the place.
* So Ashutosh G makes another film in which both Aamir & Shahrukh appear ;-). The 1st Asst Director (Kiran Rao) of this film would have enjoyed that!
* Noteworthy bgms, though somewhat erratically scattered. The title piece played in the harmonica (if I'm not mistaken) should've been part of the released soundtrack.
