Mind culture

There came a point when I knew significantly more trivia about Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, or Shakti, than much of their music. So it was only fair that I plough back some of my ill-gotten earnings into redressing this state of affairs.

So where does a newbie start but with so-called definitive collections? As long as I don't ask 'what need do I have of this' and 'that'.

Ah...the joys of the definitive collection. I don't see these on sale in the US. These seem to be packaged specially for India. Out of curiosity, what albums does the Pink Floyd collection have? So I can pass judgement :)

Oh, essentially it's Pulse and A Momentary Lapse of Reason, so I'm now not so sure it's all that definitive :-)

You bought Floyd and Dylan? What is wrong with you? You could have got their entire collection from me for free !

I can still do that :-)
Plus this looks good on the shelf and I got a rather good discount.

Pulse and A Momentary Lapse Of Reason -- that's a Floydian slip if any if you want to call it "definitive"; read the fine print; someone's taking you for a magic carpet ride. return it for a full refund and go get something that's more appropriate (I'd recommend riding the black pearl).
