Google Spam back to Alpha?
I'm not sure why this is happening, but each day, more than a handful of annoyingly mundane filth remains untouched in my GMail Inbox. Instead of being shown the backdoor (as salesmen traditionally are), they're punching the front doorbell or squashed against the French windows. My limited searching on the subject did not reveal any recent upsurge in complaints from netizens, so I wonder why I have so much false negatives each day. Unless the Google machine learners are having a summer vacation. Till then, I try to find solace in odes to spam (1 - All You Need Is Spam, 2 - Don't Be Inadequate Anymore).
And to make this post utterly worthless, here's a little riddle:
Q. Why is the song "dhak dhak karne lagaa" similar to most Google products?A. Because it's a Beta version.

Fellow sufferer...
make that +2. Both for me. One for the spam, one for the horrible, horrible joke.
why this song why not koyal si teri or any other song from the movie?
see, we can bite back :-)
harish, abhishek: good, so something is wrong!
abhishek: my pleasure re: joke
anon: didn't claim exclusive rights on that song - the PageRank of the entire indra kumar collection is up for grabs.
Add me to the list of recent spam receivers as well....
I came to know of you through Abhishek, we met briefly once to discuss ideas related to his BE project.
I read your M Tech thesis report, found it quite interesting. I have been working on Search and IR for 4 years. I had some thoughts of modeling ConceptNet and similar Common Sense Representation Systems by using the "verb" as the central point and modeling nouns as "Agencies of Action". This structure is used in Sanskrit language.I wanted to discuss it with someone and get some feedback .If interested, could you mail me at abhay dot shete [AT] gmail and I could reply and elaborate on the idea...
