The romanticism of being a Pakistan fan has actually gone out since the time Woolmer took over..

Ramanand..

Would you vigorously root for a Pakistani "win". Correction there, I guess

Arvind: thanks for pointing out. Corrected.

Well.. I am more anti Australia than anti Pakistan these days. So, was happy by their win. Who rubs me the wrong way, by their attitude, is probably what works for me/works me up :-). Anysways, India/Pakistan players are mostly all smiles with each other these days.

is there a case for still being anti-aussie? gilchrist, lee, hussey, clarke are among the nicest on a pitch, ponting is a different person, mcgrath has gone (to india). what is there to hate?

daemon said...

Probably not anymore. Still in hangover. Hate Ponting though X-(

I have graduated too. Perhaps we are grown up. But yes the other reason is like you said - there are no Javed(both Miandad and Aqib - I used to hate is floating locks)

I too remember that Hockey match. That was some Pakistani team - Shahbaz Ahmed, Danish Kaleem!
